When you search using "Find me" button, your browser requests your location (your confirmation is required for this - how this presents itself depends on the type of the browser you use). Coordinates are used by the application to find the postcode of your location, it is therefore possible to pin point your location during this time This is however no different than when you use your location to search for your nearest supermarket or a property on likes of RightMove or any other website that allows to "find nearest" type of search

Your location is never used for anything else other than to determine the postcode
